Peninsula motor mechanics

Hey all,

Does anyone know of a good, well priced and honest motor mechanic on the Peninsula..

After just about 10 years of using the same shop at Memorial Ave Blackwall, I have just about had enough of the crappy service. My girldfriend's dad is a retired motor mechanic from Berkeley Vale who was very very well regarded.

This shop - you would think - would at least recognise 10 years of custom with a decent attitude to service, but they don't

Local Internet Cafe

I noticed recently the cafe at Gnostic Forest has expanded their computers into a seperate shop next door with more puters and wireless broadband , I used to use em a bit when my p.c was in the shop for extended periods while the geeks at Harvey Norman checked out all my pron files , anyway they are located next the the cafe on the corner opposite the Bayview...

I like my pies and while I don't have one favourite shop I can recommend the following for those pie fanciers.

Best Meat Pies - The Bakehouse opposite the Ocean Beach Hotel in Umina - nice chunky steak mmmm
Best Chicken Pie - Ettalong Pie Shop on the roundabout at ettalong - highly recommended all the pies here are awesome
Best Cakes - Bremens Patisserie in Umina - 2nd place winning chocolate donuts yes

I don't stay out much so I 'll leave those comments to people who have stayed in the area and had a good time.
For a nice quiet lay on the beach I don't mind the northern end of Pearl Beach to chill out away from the rabble
Also if you want a great day out sight seeing the local area the check out my friends website

Best Hamburgers - Batty's Burgers West St Umina , plus he's a nice guy !
Best Pies - Umina Bakehouse , Ned Kelly pies are yummo !
Best Chook - Charcoal Chicken Umina
Best Pizzas - the pizza shop at the Ettalong...
